Welcome to The Society. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of thesocietyleaders.com and the-society-main.multiscreensite.com (the "Site"), our membership community, events and retreats, online store, Society Creative services, and our SMS/text messaging program (together, the "Services"). By using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.


1. Who We Are


The Society is a brotherhood for lead pastors and Kingdom leaders, offering membership, retreats, cohorts, and community. "We," "us," and "our" refer to The Society. "You" refers to anyone who visits the Site, applies for membership, registers for an event, makes a purchase, or opts in to receive text messages from us.


2. Membership


Membership in The Society is by application. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We review every application and will let you know our decision. Membership benefits, dues, and terms are described on our Membership page and may be updated from time to time. Membership fees are billed on the schedule shown at checkout and are non-refundable except as required by law or as we state otherwise in writing.


3. Events & Retreats


The Society hosts retreats, cohorts, and events for members and, in some cases, invited guests. Registration is confirmed once payment is received. Event details, dates, and pricing are subject to change; we will do our best to notify you of any material changes. Refund and cancellation terms for a specific event will be stated on that event's registration page.


4. Store & Merchandise


Items purchased through our online store are subject to the pricing, shipping, and return terms shown at checkout and on our Product Returns page. We accept payment through the processors listed at checkout and are not responsible for third-party payment processing errors outside our control.


5. Society Creative Services


The Society may offer website, branding, or creative services through Society Creative to member churches and organizations. Any such services are governed by a separate written agreement between The Society (or Society Creative) and the client, in addition to these Terms.


6. SMS / Text Messaging Terms


By providing your mobile phone number and opting in through a form on our Site (for example, our Contact, Membership, or Get Started forms), you consent to receive text messages from The Society at the number provided.


  • What you'll receive: Messages may include membership updates, event and retreat reminders, onboarding information, and general community communication from The Society.
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your membership status and activity, and may include recurring messages.
  • Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • How to opt out: Reply STOP at any time to any text message to stop receiving messages from us. You may also contact us directly using the information in Section 13 below.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any text message, or contact us directly, for assistance.
  • Carrier liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Wireless carriers are not responsible for supporting this service.
  • Supported carriers: Our SMS program is supported on major U.S. wireless carriers. Coverage may vary.
  • Privacy: We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or opt-in status with third parties for their own marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on how we collect, use, and protect your information.


7. Age Requirement


You must be at least 18 years old to apply for membership, register for an event, make a purchase, or opt in to receive text messages from The Society. By using the Site or Services, you represent that you meet this age requirement.


8. User Conduct


You agree to use the Site and Services respectfully and lawfully, and not to interfere with other users' experience, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.


9. Payments


All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. By making a purchase or setting up recurring membership billing, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide according to the terms shown at checkout.


10. Intellectual Property


The Society name, logo, branding, and all content on the Site (including templates, text, images, and design) are the property of The Society and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.


11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability


The Site and Services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Society disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services.


12. Changes to These Terms


We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" above will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
